| What is RSS? |
|
RSS ("Really Simple Syndication") allows any Web site
to make its most recent headlines and content available
to anyone who signs up for the service. We make our headlines,
new products and forum posts available as a service to
you, our subscriber, and we hope that this will bring
you to The Industrial Wireless Book more often to help
you find the articles and information in the automation
and controls industry that you need.
To use these feeds we've set up, you need to use a program
called an RSS reader or news aggregator. It runs on your
local computer, regularly goes to a list of Web sites that
you specify, and tells you what the newest content on those
sites is.
If you haven't got an RSS reader, you'll need to install
one first. There's a list at http://blogspace.com/rss/readers.
If you use the My Yahoo customisation feature, one of
the easiest ways to get started is to add the RSS headlines
to your personal page. Read how at Yahoo's RSS FAQs.
The Industrial Wireless Book's RSS headline service is not
intended as a substitute for licensing the content of our
articles. Please contact Geoff Hodgkinson geoff@ggh.co.uk
if you would like to use one of our articles. |
